Michael Wilson Medical Fund
Seahawks fan Michael is a dedicated family man who is battling Mutiple Myeloma, a form of blood cancer. He and his wife Jan have raised 6 children together in Everett. Michael is a hard working guy who has worked 7 days a week for the past 20 years and has had 2 jobs for most of his life. Because of his Myeloma, Michael was forced into ealy retirement. Unfortunately, despite having insurance, his out-of-pocket costs have outpaced his savings. Multiple Myeloma is not curable and Michael requires ongoing bi-weekly chemotherapy at $6,500 per treatment.
The best medicine for Michael has been spending time with his family, and his grandsons always bring a smile to his face. During football season you will find the 12th Man flag flying at their house during family get-togethers. His positive outlook has enabled him to look forward to summer gatherings at MukilteoBeach and at Mariner's games, or traveling to their favorite beach in Manzanita, Oregon.
Let's rally together to help this family cover his medical expenses so that he can relax and enjoy his well-deserved retirement.
