St. John Bosco Mission Trip
Donation protected
Catholic Campus Ministry at Wright State University has been traveling to St. John Bosco Boys' Home in Mandeville, Jamaica for almost 20 years. For two weeks, WSU students run a vacation bible school camp, music camp and soccer camp. We also do small maintenance projects around the home and school. Every evening we spend time togeter in prayer, learning about Catholic Social Teaching and recalling how we have experienced God.
This trip helps students develop a deeper relationship with Christ, learn how to live a life of service and really care for the least of these in society. A few students have decided to spend an entire year in service because of experiences on this trip.
It costs about $1500 for each student attending. This includes room, board and flight. Please consider helping us to offset the costs for these students. We never want to turn a student away due to cost, but we cannot afford to pay for the entire trip ourselves.
Any help you can give is greatly appreciated! Thank you for your prayers and any donations you are able to give!
