Bobby's Special Needs Bath/Shower

Hi, my name is Rhonda and I would like to introduce you to a special young man, Bobby Smith.  Bobby has celebral palsy, epilepsy, and atrophy of the brain.  He is confined to a wheelchair and is not capable of doing much for himself.  His parents are very devoted to him and still do all those things for him that parents do for a baby.   Their love for him knows no boundaries!  Now as Bobby is growing older (he just recently celebrated his 13th birthday, yay!), his parents, especially his mother, are finding it difficult to continue with some of those things he requires on a daily basis but they lovingly still want to do for him.  One of those needs is lifting Bobby from his wheelchair and placing him into a regular tub with a simple shower head.  This wonderful, loving family desperately needs the capability of a walk in shower where Bobby's chair can be pushed in easily and his needs fulfilled.  They receive no help from the federal government, other then TNCare, and that only as a secondary insurance to their primary.  Bobby also has 2 young sisters who also try to help with his care.  Our goal is to help this family acquire a walk-in shower/bathroom for Bobby's special needs.  This family certainly deserves a special blessing since they are such an inspiration and blessing to not only each other, but to everyone whose lives they touch.  Our Lord and Savior said, "Whoever humbles himself like this child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven. Whoever receives one such child in my name receives me," (Matthew 18:4-5).  Please open your heart to this child and his family and help ease their burden.  They are not ones to complain, but every once in a while we all need a shoulder, we all need a friend to lean on.  I pray that all of you can find it in your hearts to be that friend.  Thank you!
