Christel Carr Elliott Recovery

As many of you may have heard, one of our fellow Tacoma runners was struck in a hit and run accident last night while on an evening run.  She has a broken hip, injuries to her knee and chest and will require surgery.  For those who know Christel, this teacher and single mom is a fighter and had just recently hit a mile stone in her recovery from a previous major surgery by once more embracing her passion for distance running.  Now, facing surgery for these injuries, Christel could use some help. She is always there for her friends and family and now we have the opportunity to show her that same dedication.  There are medical bills resulting from this hit and run and she depleted her paid time off recovering from the previous surgery. If you can give , please do.  Anything you can contribute would be greatly appreciated to help Christel get back up and running.
