Gerri Stillwell's Home Damage Fund

Many people in our community know Gerri Stillwell.  She is one of the most selfless, caring, and generous people you will ever meet.  She has a daycare in her home on Royal Road and all the kids just absolutely adore their "Nanny"! 
Monday night (6-22-15) a bad storm came through Cordele.  During this storm a pine tree was blown over and it landed on her house.  It went through the roof on the backside.  This is the 4th tree that has fallen in her yard in the past 2 years!  They have checked into having them removed, but financially it was not a possibility.  When her husband passed away she was faced with some difficult decisions to make ends meet...one of which included cancelling her homeowners insurance to cover other financial needs.  To make things worse...she lost her wallet last week which included money for her power bill and money she was DONATING to a needy family along with more money.  It was a blessing that her wallet was returned, but unfortunatly all the money was not returned with it.  
 Ms. Gerri has had her share of hardships and has always relied on God to provide...and He has!  She has faith that He will provide for her once again.  I'm asking you to step up as a community to help this sweet lady fix her home!  If you can't contribute financially please offer your services in another way if possible!  Even if you can only contribute $5 she will greatly appreciate your generosity!
