You never expect as a parent that one day you will receive the news that your child has CANCER. The initial shock is paralyzing for them as well as the family. What do you say to your 12 year old child? How do you approach such a terrifying subject? LEUKEMIA
Jordan my 12 year old nephew had complained of not feeling well. His parents Keith and Donna Reeves took him to the ER never expecting that he would be transferred to 2 Children's Hospital's in 1 night. Nevertheless receive a diagnosis of LEUKEMIA . This child was a healthy boy that builds & creates, rides 4 wheelers, lawnmowers and swims in the pool with his little brother Brayden.
Parents in todays world don't always have the extra money that it cost to pay for unexpected catastrophe medical expenses. Yes, insurance does pay a percentage after the deductible is met. It's the other cost, high deductibles, ongoing chemotherapy treatments, lost wages, travel to and from home to Dallas.
