Laura's Medical Fund

Laura has recently been diagnosed with a grade 4 glioblastoma multiforme, a very aggressive brain tumor that unfortunately is inoperable due to its location.  Laura is in good spirits and while they are continuing to hope for the best, they know that her cancer is ultimately terminal.  With the course of treatment they have arranged, radiation and chemotherapy, they hope to extend her life to 18 months, if everything goes as hoped.  Of course if everything does not go well, it could be as little as two months.  She is currently participating in intense physical and occupational therapy, and treatment should begin next week.  This initial round of treatment will be five days a week for six weeks, and re-evaluations will be done periodically after.  She has an excellent support system in place, but this rigorous treatment schedule will require her family to take time away from work indefinitely, and any and all donations received will go directly to the family to cover necessary expenses.  I know Stephen, her husband, and the kids really appreciate all the love, prayers and support, so thank you.
