Wybunbury Delves Skydive for Lewis

Our Story
Uh oh…this just got real! The teachers have decided to take a leap of faith and will be jumping from 10,000 feet out of an aeroplane in Lewis’ memory. Even though between us we are petrified, nervous and scared stiff (and did we mention petrified?!) we just know Lewis would have loved the idea of his teachers skydiving! Mr Dale, Miss McCurrie, Miss Pennance, Tara, Miss Taylor and Mr Cornes will face their fears and jump on Friday 22nd June!
This is where we need your help. We will be raising money for the Wybunbury Delves Lewis Memorial Play Equipment Project and Team Lewis Trust. Our Year 3 children have proposed a fundraising project in memory of Lewis. His classmates decided to fundraise for a huge piece of play equipment because "when we are playing outside, it's when we most remember him and it's like he'll be there with us." (by Joseph, Lewis’ best friend.) Team Lewis Trust has been set up in memory of Lewis Crossley, who was 7 years old and passed away in November 2017 from T-Cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia. They aim to support research into this disease as there is a need to further develop research and treatment into this sub-type of leukaemia, treatment outcomes and options of which are currently lagging behind other types of leukaemia.
