35227364_1544409327238480_r.jpegEvery parents worst nightmare became reality for Martin and Alicia Delage this week as they were told that there 11 year old son Wyatt, has stage 3 Mature B cell non-Hodgkins lymphoma (NHL).

A  mass appeared on Wyatt’s abdomen and while medical attention was quickly sought, nothing could’ve prepared anyone that he would be diagnosed with cancer and require immediate, aggressive chemotherapy treatments at the Hospital For Sick Children in Toronto, ON away from his 3 siblings (Macey, Hudson, and Luke) for the next 6 months.

Wyatt is an avid hockey player and a member of the Barrie Colts Minor Peewee AAA hockey team.  While his parents worry as he fights for his life, he is worried about missing hockey, school, his friends and not going home for Christmas.

For those that know the Delage’s, you know how extremely family oriented they are.  They are actively involved in all aspects of their children’s lives and are wonderful and loving parents.

They are heartbroken to be separated from their 3 other children but must be as Wyatt requires 24 hour life saving treatments.

Wyatt has a treatable cancer, but they need our support so they can focus solely on getting Wyatt better and reunite their family.

This fund was created to help ease the financial burden they will bear as they fight to save their son. Every donation is gratefully received and goes directly to Marty and Alicia.

Wyatt, you are a Warrior and we know you will fight this!!

Thank you to all who visit this page!  All support is helpful in lifting the Delage’s spirits and easing their mind.  ❤️

Hello to all of Wyatt’s Warriors!

Now that the holiday season has wrapped up, it’s time for an update!

It is with the most gratitude and enthusiasm that it can be stated that we are HALF-WAY to our goal!! Thank you hardly seems like a big enough expression of the love and support that Wyatt and his family have received thus far, but there isn’t a better word. So, thank you to each and every one of you. To each person, team, loved one and stranger that took time out of their day to help make Wyatt’s fight a little easier, please know you have made an incredible difference and The Delage Family is in awe of your incredible generosity.

Wyatt has been at Sick Kids now for 6 weeks. He has had 3 rounds of chemotherapy and his body is sore from the side effects. He doesn’t like getting needles in his arms, which has to happen when required, but he still thinks it hurts too much.

Wyatt was able to be with his parents AND his 3 siblings at Christmas and all the Delage’s were happy to just be together again.

Wyatt is enjoying the “amazing Mac and Cheese” at Sick Kids but does NOT enjoy the “not so yummy Chicken Nuggets and Fries”. He thinks the hospital nurses are super cool and really nice to him. He enjoys pulling pranks on them and keeping them on their toes while they take really good care of him.

Wyatt is really missing hockey, his friends, home and school. He says the support he has received has been “Amazing! Especially since people are giving up their possesions and time to help me feel good.”

He recently received a day pass from the hospital and was allowed to visit his parents room at Ronald MacDoanld house, it was very exciting for everyone!

Wyatt’s parents, Marty and Alicia, are still by his side as he puts up a fight to his cancer. Every hour, 2-3 people are in Wyatt’s room to provide updates, test results, treatments and discuss his care. Fighting cancer is constant and there is much to do!

Wyatt’s treatment is going well but is far from over, he has many more months of living at Sick Kids and the Delage’s still need our love and support. So please keep sharing his page! If you want to support Wyatt’s Warriors but are unable to do so financially, please consider donating blood. It is just as valuable to a person receiving cancer treatments and thanks to Canada Blood Services , it’s easy to do! Please visit

Again, thank you for your love and support to an 11 year old boy who is a true Warrior and putting up a great fight against cancer!
