Hey all, my name's Dani or Ducky as most people call me.
In 2010 I played my first ever football game where I got to play against boys as there was no women's league and have never looked back. After two seasons there was one of the first women's games played in Australia, Melbourne where we competed against a tough side going into double over time.
This then led to a milstone leap for women's football in Australia where I was lucky enough to play under a NSW team in 2013 with the Raiders and compete in their league. Then in 2014 representing the ACT Monarchs in the fisrt WAGL with an aqmazing group of footballers.
2015 was a good year for the ACT as we had our first women's season, unfortunately this was not the same for the year after. Then in 2016 the first ever Women's Australian National Outback training camp was held, where I was fortunate enough to be selected to attend the second selection camp 12 months later. After camp I had the opportunity to go to America and compete in the 2016 Chicago Force season.
In February of this year I attended the Women's National Selection Camp where I am honoured to have been seleceted to represent my country in Australia's first National Women's Outback Team to attend the Women's World Championship Games later this year in Canada along with 52 other amazing and talented women.

Women's football in Asutralia is growing and I am privileged to be a part of it. We are changing the game!
