Last September I competed in the Miss Rhode Island USA 2015 pageant and was selected as a semi-finalist placing in the Top 14. After such a rewarding experience, I decided to apply for this year's pageant and was accepted as a State Finalist in the Miss Rhode Island USA pageant to be held in August at the Dunkin' Donuts Center in Providence. The Rhode Island pageant system is one of the premier state pageants in the United States and I am proud to have been selected from among the hundreds of applications that have been and are continuing to be processed.
After competing in my first ever pageant last September, I took from it, many valuable life skills and created new friendships. I am confident that with this experience under my belt that I can be as successful in this year's pageant and that it could potentially lead to many opportunities for my future. If I do become Miss Rhode Island USA, I will represent the state and compete for the national title of Miss USA 2016! I have set up this GoFundMe page because I am hoping that you will participate with me! Yes, you can participate and get some recognition for yourself and your company by being one of my sponsors. My top sponsors will be recognized in the Official State program and in press coverage. The sponsorship is necessary to help cover the costs of the state pageant weekend, such as meals, production costs, prize package, and other pageant expenses which will occur along the the way.
This has been a childhood dream of mine and is the last year I am eligible to compete. I sincerely hope you will choose to celebrate this event with me! I truly appreciate any and all support and donations;I will never be able to fully express how grateful I am through words.
