The Lexington Short Film Festival

As some of you know, there is a blossoming Film community here in Lexington. We have features and Short Films both being produced here in Kentucky. We want to showcase Short Films. So many of us in the Lexington Short Film Society decided to go and make a Festival. This Festival will showcase films from 2 minutes to 15 minutes. It will show the talent and character we have in the filmmaking world. it will also help with promoting fellow Filmmakers in this area.
What We've done: We have already vetted through films and selected films for viewing, we have determend the selection of the first 10 films to be shown and we will be jusging and awarding different awards for different aspects of filmmaking.
Where we will be: The Farish Theater at the Central Library.
When: November 13th from 1-5 P.M.
What we need: There is a security deposit of 150$ and a fee of 200$. We are aking for help from the filmmaking community and Cinephile community to help make this new festival here to become a reality! The deposit will be saved and used again for the next festivalnext year.
