Zimbabwe Cyclone Disaster Appeal

Cyclone Idai has torn through Southern Africa and part of Manicaland in Zimbabwe has not been spared. According to the UN, millions of people are in the direct path of what could be the “worst weather-related disaster to hit the southern hemisphere”. Home, schools, roads and bridges have been washed away and people have been made destitutes overnight.

Diaspora Crisis Team is heading more than 36 UK charities & organisations  on this campaign including Zimbabwean in Diaspora Organisation,  Zimbabwe Diaspora Health Alliance, Rutendo Trust, Women's Empowerment & Development Initiative and many more.
Overwhelming support is being received from both the Diaspora and national community in the UK.

We are collecting clothes, shoes and vital supplies like food, blankets,  medical supplies from donors in the United Kingdom desperately needed in areas affected by cyclone Idai in Chimanimani, Zimbabwe. The donated goods will be shipped to Zimbabwe from the United Kingdom and the funds we are seeking will help in:

1.Collection and storage of commodities all over UK.
2. Transportation to Zimbabwe
3. Storage and distribution to the affected areas in Zimbabwe
