Send kids to science camp

I am raising money for Monroe Elementary School, a public school located in the Excelsior District of San Francisco, CA. The school serves approximately 520 K-5 students, many of whom are immigrants (approximately 65% of the students are learning English as a second language and about 79% qualify for free or reduced-price lunch).

Monroe has made great gains in academic achievement over the past five years, with measurable outcomes including meeting the state academic goals for our school-wide population and closing the achievement gap in both English Language Arts and Math.

Your tax deductible (Tax ID# 26-0084079) support will help the school PTA provide every student access to the Mission Science Workshops. The Mission Science Workshops are bilingual community science centers that provide hands-on science enrichment activities to underserved youth from low-income communities, their schools and families.

We do not want to lose any ground in the educational gains our students have made. Please help us reach our funding goal.
