Harvey Relief - Stronger Together

Tax deductible
Dear Friends:

Our nonprofit organization, My Brother's Keeper, is inundated with neighbors in need from over Harris and Fort Bend counties and we need your help to meet their needs for food, emergency assistance and social services.  The effects from Hurricane Harvey are beyond devastating for Texas, and in particular, Fort Bend and Harris Counties. I am heartbroken for everyone who has suffered during this historic catastrophic storm. Countless people have loss everything they own, their homes, cars, businesses, jobs, some family members and so much more. It will take a long time for us all to find normalcy in life again.

Thank you for your prayers as they have definitely been heard.

Harvey has moved on, but in its aftermath, it has left us with many hardships for months, even years to come. During times like this, we have each other to rely on. With each day, we will gain strength and endurance for the road ahead. Together, each day, we will stand side by side and continue to be neighbors helping neighbors with compassion and love. The Lord has made us to be resilient, and we will rebuild all while we cry, laugh, and even work together for months to come.

My Brother’s Keeper Outreach Center is here to be a beacon of hope in the time of loss and despair. For more than 23 years, our mission has been and will continue to be to provide emergency assistance, social services and training for individuals and families in crisis that will stabilize, strengthen and empower them to help themselves.

Each year thousands walk through our doors hurting in many ways and in need of assistance with what most people consider to be very basic needs in life.  Now in the wake of Hurricane Harvey, we know litterally millions of people are in great need, they have lost everything and are already pouring through our doors with monumental needs.
