Kimbery is fighting Lymphoma
Kim has been diagnosed with Hodgkin Lymphoma.
She is currently uninsured and has accrued thousands of dollars in expenses just in the diagnosis process. This woman is a good Christian woman who in the past thirty years has raised seven children, only one of which was her own. In all those years she never recived goverment assistance or asked for anything in return. Now she is in need.
I wanted to explain myself a little better, last night as I posted the above it was late and so much had happened. This is all about my wife of 29 years Kim. She has been a good Christian woman and has helped so many people that most others would turn away. Like I said before she raised seven children and took in countless others all of our life together. This is one of the many things I love about my wife. She will give her all to whomever needs it. But now it is her turn She was diagnosed with Hodgkin's Lymphoma after having six fist sized lymph nodes removed. She has no insurance and we need to get her help and treatment. If there is anyone out there that can help her I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you so much I just can't stand the thought of my life without her.
It seems like every treatment hits her harder.
Keep her in your prayers.
Kim saw the oncologist today and had her final round of tests run, if was a very long day spent totally in medical clinics.
The final diagnosis is Stage 2A Hodgkin's Lymphoma.
Her chemo begins Thursday at 11:15 with a 4 drug cocktail. Using this treatment for this type of Lymphoma normally has about a 85% chance of full recovery. But there will be side effects, Kim will lose her hair and there is a very high chance of secondary infections. Those of you who know us well will remember our son Thuan who also had cancer, it was not the cancer that took him from us it was complications due to the side effects of the chemo.
We will be driving to Franklin Tennessee for every treatment. Please keep us in your prayers and many thanks to all those who have helped us in our time of need.
There have been some issues with the healing of her surgical incision so Kim saw the doctor again today. They added some additional supplements to her diet and treated the incision. Hopefully this issue will soon be solved. On another note the oncologist called today with the results of the additional tests and consultations done this week. It is now confirmed the diagnosis is Hodgkin's lymphoma. At this point a few more tests will be run and the treatments will begin. We do not yet have a date for the beginning of treatments. I will post additional updates when I do.
