WTND-LP- a low power FM radio station began broadcasting on January 8 2003 to the Macomb (Illinois) area at 106.3 on the FM dial.
Many people worked to get this community radio station on the air; especially broadcast producers Tom DePauw and Darryl Roberts who have done live shows and remote shows on community events, from peace marches to church services and visiting musicians.
We play music and present a variety of national news shows not available elsewhere in Macomb, from Democracy Now to Free Speech Radio News to present weather updates, especially important during tornado season, and broadcast 24 hours a day.
