As some of you may or may not know, a good friend of mine as well as many, Justin Romaniuk, passed away this past Monday, January 23, 2017 as a result of a fatal car accident at the age of 19.
After graduating from Southwestern High School, Justin had completed one year at Jamestown Community College, and then transferred to the University at Buffalo. He was a great student with aspirations of eventually becoming a math teacher.
For those of you who do not know him, Justin, or “J” as some of his friends call him, was one of the most fun-loving, positive people you could ever meet. He did not hesitate to take every opportunity to brighten your day. Thinking back, I cannot recall one time Justin has made mine or anyone else’s day worse. He lit up the room with his funny, goofy words and actions, and I’m sure anyone who knew him could agree. He was liked by many, if not all, and I don’t think I’ll ever meet another man like him.
With a heavy heart, I ask for your help. Justin leaves behind two loving parents, Rick and Linda Romaniuk, and a younger sister. With his younger sister planning on entering college this coming fall, any donations towards funeral expenses as well as financial support is appreciated. Friends of Justin and myself ask that finances be the last thing on their mind. Every little bit counts, and family and friends greatly appreciate the donations. Please pray for the Romaniuk family.
