This is the hard part.
In 2012 I thought I married my soul mate. It was like meeting someone I'd known my whole life. We laughed, we talked for hours, and he literally saved my life in more ways than I can explain. My art has become my dream because of the support he gave me.
The past 3 years things have changed dramatically and I now find myself in a very abusive relationship. I've been to my own counselor and we went to two as a couple without any resolution. I've been fighting to try to do anything I can to make things better, but all three counselors have advised me that the chances of things getting better are slight and to leave for my own safety and sanity.
Part of the abuse involved keeping and manipulating our finances, so - though I've been trying to set aside money for the last 9 months - I'm currently not in a position to be able to leave. The abuse has recently escalated and I need to find a safe place soon for myself and my pets. So I'm asking for help.
I don't want a hand out, if you're willing to help in any way I want to do what i can to say thank you. So, give me some way to contact you and I'll send you something as a thank you.
