On February 8th, Ray Wilson Jr. was admitted to the hospital with a severe bleed around his brain stem.  The doctors were not hopeful, but we knew that the Huge God that we serve, had a plan for Ray Jr..  Over the past 4+ months, Ray jr. has been in multiple medical facilities, and has continued to baffle countless medical professionals with the healing, and progress that he has made.  We give GOD all of the glory for this.

Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you, will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ. Philippians 1:6

Ray is continuing the healing process, and we ask and believe GOD for complete and total restoration.  As you might imagine, such a journey comes with significant financial burden.  Ray Wilson Jr. and Gayle Wilson have served the Lord faithfully for their entire lives and trust that God will provide for their every need.

And my God will liberally supply (fill to the full) your every need according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:19

The next step in this process will be Ray Jr. returning to his home to finish his recovery.  Please continue to pray with us that Ray jr. will be able to return home soon, and for complete recovery.

Many of you have asked how you can help, so I have decided to set up this fund to help with all of the costs incured throughout this process.

Thank you
Chris Wilson

Ray Wilson (dad) is doing much better. Our awesome God has kept him here for such a time as this. Dad is continuing to progress, but the expenses are also continuing. We see a corner ahead, and are ready to turn it. New therapy in store, and new ways to pray, please pray for healing of vision, increase in strength so that he can continue to progress, and knowledge for my Mom and the therapists to know exactly the correct way to go. You all have been such an amazing support and above all we need prayer. We thank you for traveling with us on this journey. Your prayer is what is keeping Dad going. Please reach out to Gayle and support and encourage her, she passes it onto Dad, and it helps sooooooooooooo much. I love you all!

Update on June 29, 2015:

Today was a good day for Dad... He did have a little pain today in his kidney for about an hour but Pastor Abe, who stopped for a visit, Mom and Dex took it to the Lord and all was back to normal. Amen!
Thank you Lord!

Before Pastor Abe stopped by Dad's buddy Rich came to share a few laughs. Mom said Dad was laughing about tall people. I'm not completely sure on all the details but at least Dad was laughing. smile emoticon

Our day ended with our buddy Dennis, pictured, who stopped to help me build a ramp for Dad so he can get outside. It was a beautiful cool night and Dad was excited to get outside for the first time in couple weeks. And it was the first time in five months since he has been out in his back patio.

We continue to see God's faithfulness. Thank you for your prayers for Mom and Dad.

Blessings, Barry

Update on Ray
June 18th

Ray playing cards today with our very bestest of friends, Dan & Priscilla Ussery. He was sitting in his new wheelchair at our dining room table. We put his most active arm up on the table and he was able to scoop the card towards the edge until he could get it to his thumb and flip it over. He later played a game of chicken foot in bed. First games in 4 1/2 months. And he loves games.

"God is doing wonderful things whereof we are glad"

Love,
Gayle

Update on Pastor Ray Wilson
On this date, Pastor Ray "Papa" Wilson was cleared to go home. Singing and crying he joyfully recited a combination of songs, "It's My Party and I'll Cry if I Want To" by Leslie Gore and "Homeward Bound" by the Beatles.
We've came a long way and we'll remain hopeful for the amount of work God will continue to do in Ray's life as well as our own. Thank you for all the prayers and support.

If you know Dad, you know he loves to play games, finally at home, and he is playing games. It is tough for him, since he has about 30 percent movement in his one arm, but it is a sense or normalcy. God will continue to provide the rest of the full function. Thank you all who have given we have reached almost 25 percent of our goal. Wow, that is awesome, you guys rock. Bless, and you will be blessed!!!
