Cruising to Critical Care
Paul (Providence College, 72) and Nancy (Judge, Salve Regina, 72) Whalen were on the "cruise of their life" when Paul became extremely ill while docked in Dublin. He was admitted to the hospital, critically ill with pneumonia. After 35 days of excellent treatment and progress in the ICU, the dilemma became transport home while needing ventilation support. Air Ambulance was arranged with the co-pay needed of $30,000. Along with this fee and increasing incidental expenses needed, friends and family would like to support Paul and Nancy during this life threatening event.
