Wounded and Fallen Hero Fund

Tax deductible
The Cleveland Maidan Association is a 501(c)3 charity organization established in January of 2014 in Cleveland, Ohio by members of the Ukrainian diaspora. The CMA was initially founded to provide financial aid to those who were wounded or the families of those who died during the Euromaidan Revolution in Kiev. As a new conflict arose in eastern Ukraine, the Association began to also provide financial and material support to the families of those wounded or killed in battle.

From its founding, the Cleveland Maidan Association has worked to send funds directly to the wounded veterans or the immediate family of the fallen .  After having confirmed their identity and status through on-the-ground representatives in Ukraine,  a via transfer is sent directly to the receiving party, whether it's the soldier themself or an immediate contact such as a wife or mother.  Additionally, all funds donated to the Association are used only for transfer to the affected families in Ukraine, with all administrative costs being covered by volunteers.

All transfered funds are recorded by the Association and documented on our social media pages to provide a fully transparent report of all collected funds. Up until today, the Cleveland Maidan Association has helped over 200 families in Ukraine and is continuing its efforts as more families are added to the list of  those who have lost loved ones to the war.
