This year we, Olivia & Daniel Ducommun, have both been selected to represent Australia in the 2017 World Roller Games in Nanjing, China, competing in Artistic Roller Skating & Inline Hockey respectively. This will be the first time that all the disciplines of Roller Sports will compete together at the same time. These include inline & roller hockey, speed skating, artistic skating, roller derby, skateboarding, alpine, downhill, freestyle and aggressive skating.
Being selected to represent our country at World Championships has been a dream for both of us and for both of us to be selected to compete at the World Roller Games in the same year is incredible and has made our dream come true. This will be an experience of a lifetime for both of us.
However the expenses to get us both to Nanjing are very high. Therefore we ask for any donation small or large to decrease the financial burden, which has fallen onto our Mum, to allow us to follow our dream. The money raised will go towards our flights, accommodation, uniform and competition fees.
