World Masters Games 2017

For years now I have had the desire to represent my country in some way through Cycling. Having raced my bike in many different diciplines over the past 25 years. I feel that I am finally ready to test myself against other similar aged cyclist from around the world.
Every four years the World Masters Games takes place in various parts of the world. For 2017 they will be held in Aukland, New Zealand. They predict that over 28,000 masters aged athletes from around the world will be competing in 28 different sports. This is the equivelent to the Olympics, but with masters aged athletes.
I will be competing in the road race, criterium and mountain bike cross country events.
The USA needs to represent cycling more on the world level. I aim to go there and podium in multiple events wearing my stars and stripes. How awesome would that be!?!?
