World Cup Of Footgolf

My name is Jeremy Johnson, and most of you know me as a soccer coach. For the past 25 years, I have coached preschool, youth, high school and the Olympic Development Program (ODP) in both Alaska and Los Angeles. Coaching and playing soccer are life-long passions, but in the past 4 years I have expanded this passion into the sport of Footgolf, a hybrid of soccer and golf played on a golf course. I trained with the top players in the country and traveled across the US to compete in over 15 American Footgolf League (AFGL) tournaments with one goal in mind – to qualify for the US National Footgolf Team and represent our country in the World Cup this December.

As a coach I encourage my players to consistently work hard to reach their goals as a team and as individuals. This year I followed my own advice and achieved my goal to represent the US in this year’s World Cup in Marrakesh, Morocco. I am honored to represent the US as part of the National Team, competing with 35 countries as we defend our world title.

This year has been truly rewarding, but also challenging. I sincerely appreciate the support and encouragement from friends, family and players, and I am grateful for my coaching positions that allowed me the flexibility to travel and help finance my tournaments and training up to this point. I wish I could finance this final chapter of my journey, but unfortunately I need your help.
