We are: Working for Street Dogs (that's our Facebook page name!)
My friends in Albania and Kosovo devote their time and money to helping the street dogs. Please help me to support them with money for neutering, food and for treating the sick. If we can increase the number of animals neutered, eventually we can reduce the amount of food and veterinary care needed, and most importantly, we can reduce the amount of suffering!
Ria was thrown into a ravine - she managed to cling to a tree! She was lucky, she was found and is in a foster home in Albania. She will soon be travelling to the UK.
Bertie was sick and starving on the streets of Tirana. As you can see, he is now fit and well in his new home in Albania!
They are two of the lucky ones! To re-home all the street dogs is impossible, but when we can, we do.
Our aim is to neuter and vaccinate as many street dogs as we can, and to continue to feed and treat those already on the streets!
£60 will neuter a male dog
£90 will neuter a female dog
A 15kg bag of the cheapest quality dry dog food costs £25
In two countries where there is widespread poverty, it is little wonder that dogs end up on the streets!
