Bebes monos lanudos en el Amazonas peruano necesitan tu ayuda!
Somos seis bebés monos lanudos, rescatados del trafico ilegal, en camino a vivir una vida sana y feliz.
Cuando éramos muy pequeños, nos separaron de nuestras madres que fueron asesinadas en el bosque. Luego vivimos durante muchas semanas en un centro donde éramos la atracción para los turistas. Los visitantes nos tomaron en sus brazos para tomar fotografías, y después de que nos acurrucamos en el calor de sus brazos, fuimos arrancados por los vigilantes y arrojados a una esquina. Lloramos mucho y extrañamos a nuestra madre. Estabamos hambrientos y teníamos frío. Uno de nuestros hermanitos no lo logró y murió.
Un día llegó una señora y nos tuvo una gran lástima. Ella movió cielo y tierra para salvarnos de ese centro. Ahora vivimos en un lugar agradable, donde dos bellas damas y sus ayudantes nos curan y nos reconfortan. Nuestra salud está mejorando. Comemos cosas buenas, frutas y verduras, y jugamos juntos en el jardín.
Ahora que estamos creciendo, necesitamos un lugar más grande entre árboles y arbustos: una amplia jaula en el verde, donde podamos correr y trepar.
Cuando estemos en condiciones de hacer un largo viaje, nos llevarán en bote a un lugar muy hermoso, donde viven otros monos lanudos – al borde de la Reserva Pacaya Samiria.
Algún día, esperamos volver a nuestra Selva querida. Allí formaremos nuestras familias, tendremos a nuestras crías y viviremos felices en el paraíso del cual fuimos arrancados.

Junge Wolläffchen im peruanischen Amazonas brauchen deine Hilfe!
Wir sind sechs Baby-Wolläffchen, die aus dem illegalen Handel gerettet wurden. Jetzt sind wir auf dem Weg in ein gesundes und glückliches Leben.
Als wir noch ganz klein waren, trennte man uns von unseren Müttern, die im Urwald getötet wurden. Danach lebten wir viele Wochen in einem Zentrum, wo wir die Attraktion für Touristen waren. Die Besucher und Besucherinnen nahmen uns in ihre Arme, um fotografiert zu werden. Wenn wir uns in die Wärme ihrer Umarmung gekuschelt hatten, zerrten uns die Wächter mit Gewalt von ihnen los und warfen uns in eine Ecke. Wir weinten viel und hatten Heimweh nach unserer Mutter. Wir waren hungrig und froren. Einer unserer kleinen Brüder schaffte es nicht und starb.
Eines Tages kam eine Besucherin, die grosses Mitleid für uns empfand. Sie setzte alles in Bewegung, um unsere Befreiung zu bewirken. Nun leben wir an einem schönen Ort, wo zwei liebe Frauen und ihre Gehilfinnen uns pflegen und trösten. Unsere Gesundheit ist auf dem Weg der Besserung. Wir erhalten gutes Essen, Früchte und frische Blätter, und wir vergnügen uns beim Spielen im Garten.
Da wir wachsen und grösser werden, brauchen wir mehr Raum: ein grosses Gehege mit Büschen und Bäumen, wo wir laufen, klettern und spielen können. Wenn wir kräftig genug sind für eine lange Reise, werden wir auf einem Boot an einen wunderbaren Ort gebracht, wo noch andere Wollaffen leben – am Rande des Reservates Pacaya Samiria.
Von dort können wir später in unseren geliebten Regenwald zurückkehren.
Wir werden Familien bilden, Kinder haben und glücklich im Paradies leben, dem wir als Babys entrissen wurden.

Woolly baby monkeys in the Peruvian Amazonas need your help!
We are six woolly baby monkeys, saved from illegal trade, on our way to live a healthy and happy life.
When we were very small, we were separated from our mothers, who were killed in the forest. Then we lived for many weeks in a center where we were the attraction for tourists. The visitors took us into their arms for photographs, and after we cuddled in the warmth of the ladies' arms, we were torn away from them by the guardians and thrown into a corner. We cried a lot and missed our mammy. We were cold and hungry. One of our little brothers did not make it and died.
One day a lady came and felt great pity for us. She moved heaven and earth to save us from that center. Now we live in a nice place, where we are healed and comforted by two nice ladies and their helpers. Our health is improving. We eat good things, fruits and vegetables, and we play together in the garden.
We are growing and need a bigger place with trees and bushes: A wide cage in the green, where we can climb and run around. Once we are ready for a long voyage, we will travel by boat to another wonderful place, where other woolly monkeys live – on the border of Pacaya Samiria Reserve.
Someday, from there, we hope to get back to the forest. We will form families and have children and live happily in the paradise in which we were born.

Con mucha alegría quiero contarles que acabo de volver de la selva de visitar a los monitos rescatados hace algunos meses. Al ver los avances que han hecho me llena de alegría, se han recuperado muy bien, han crecido bastante y cada vez están más juguetones.
Ya les hemos construido un espacio más grande y cómodo donde puedan desenvolverse mejor, mientras esperan para ser trasladados a Pacaya Samiria, donde serán liberados y van a poder crear sus propias familias.
Una vez más quiero agradecerles a todos por su apoyo y sus donativos. Sin ustedes, todo esto no sería posible, aunque todavía nos falta mucho por hacer.
Tenemos la satisfacción de haber adelantado bastante, los invitamos a que nos sigan apoyando en esta noble labor para concluir con éxito este proyecto.
Nuestra lucha no termina aquí, seguiremos ayudando a más monitos o cualquier otra especie que necesite nuestra ayuda. Queremos seguir construyendo un planeta mejor, nuestra tierra nos lo agradecerá.
Aprovecho así mismo para contarles que entre nuestras acciones para recaudar fondos, estamos distribuyendo un calendario 2018 con fotos de estos pequeños luchadores.
Puedes adquirir este calendario por una mínima colaboración de 20 soles, con la que ayudarás a estos monitos a volver a su lugar de origen, en el cual nunca debieron ser arrebatados de sus madres.

Mit grosser Freude kann ich euch berichten, dass ich von einer Reise in den Urwald zurückgekehrt bin, wo ich die vor einigen Monaten geretteten Äffchen besuchte.
Die Fortschritte, die sie machen, erfüllen mich mit Freude: Sie haben sich gut erholt, sind stark gewachsen und werden immer lustiger und verspielter.
Wir haben ihnen ein grösseres und gut eingerichtetes Gehege gebaut, wo sie sich besser bewegen und vergnügen können, bis zu ihrer Reise ins Reservat Pacaya Samiria, wo sie ausgewildert werden und ihre eigenen Familien gründen werden.
Ich möchte allen, die mit ihrer Unterstützung und ihren Spenden zu dieser Entwicklung beigetragen haben, danken. Ohne eure Hilfe wäre dies nicht möglich.
Wir haben die Befriedigung, schon Beträchtliches erreicht zu haben, wir möchten euch aber bitten, uns weiterhin eure Unterstützung zu gewähren, damit wir dieses Projekt erfolgreich zu Ende führen können.

I am very pleased to inform you that I have come back from the rainforest, where I visited the little woolly apes that had been saved a few months ago.
It is with great pleasure that I noticed the considerable progress they are making: They have recovered well, have grown a lot and are much happier and more playful.
We have built a bigger space for them, with trees and bushes, where they are free to run around, climb and have fun. This pleasant ambience will serve them until they are ready for their trip to the National Reserve Pacaya Samiria, where they will be returned to the forest and can form their own families.
I wish to thank all those who have contributed with their support and donations to reach this goal. Without your help, it would be impossible. We are glad for having already been able to realize a great part of our project.
However, there is still much to do and we would be grateful for your further support to be able to conclude this project satisfactorily. In the future, we wish to also help other primates or further species in need. Our aim is to improve the conditions on this planet.
In this connection, I wish to inform you that we have created a calendar for 2018, with pictures of our brave little apes, in order to generate more funds for this project. The calendar can be acquired with a minimum contribution of 20 Soles (10 dollars).
