Woodhouse Yorks 3 Peaks Challenge

On 2nd July, members of Woodhouse Musical Theatre Company and friends will be attempting the gruelling Yorkshire 3 Peaks Challenge, walking 24.5 miles up the 3 largest mountains in Yorkshire, to help raise funds for 2 causes which are very different but very important in their own ways - the Forget Me Not Children's Hospice and Woodhouse Musical Theatre Company.

The Forget Me Not Children's Hospice are a fantastic local charity.  Their vision is for a world in which children and young people no longer face life-shortening conditions. And until that day comes, their mission will always be to offer them, and their families, as much support, love and laughter as they can handle (to find out more, go to: https://www.forgetmenotchild.co.uk/).

Woodhouse Musical Theatre Company is an amateur theatre company based in Huddersfield. Amateur theatre has been entertaining local communities for many years, as well as providing a platform and vital experience for people looking to break into the professional world.  For others, it's simply a fun way to socialise and meet new people.  The costs involved with putting on a production are becoming increasingly expensive and the proceeds from ticket sales more often than not do not cover these.  Unfortunately this has meant the disappearance of many local societies so this year Woodhouse have decided to do something 'a bit different' to help raise funds for our next production, Made in Dagenham, and keep musical theatre alive in Huddersfield, whilst at the same time helping the amazing Forget Me Not Children's Hospice.  

Any donations made will be split 50:50 between the society and the hospice.
