Woodcreek High -Odyssey of the Mind

The Woodcreek High School Odyssey of the Mind team representing the Capital Gold Region competed in the State Competition of Odyssey of the Mind (OotM), a global creative problem solving competition, on Saturday, March 24th and won 2nd place making them one of the California Odyssey of the Mind State Champions.
Bringing home silver medals in their problem and division was the 9th grade team consisting of Woodcreek High School students: Maggie S., Jaden S., Madison D., Marley D., Morgan D., Jennifer K., and Emma R. The team will go on to represent Woodcreek High School and the Capitol Gold Region at the World Finals May 23 – May 26 in Ames, Iowa at Iowa State University where more than 850 will travel from around the world to compete and share their creativity.
The team is seeking sponsors to make donations to help offset the cost of attending the World Finals competition. They deeply appreciate any assistance you can provide to help them get to Iowa State University. Your donation will go a long way towards providing these talented students with an opportunity to showcase their talents, meet students from other countries, and proudly represent Woodcreek High School, the Capital Gold Region, and the state of California at an international venue.
