Wolf & Woman's Youth Art Show

Donation protected
Hi everyone! Our names are Marie Eriel Hobro and Cidney Kelly. We are a part of Wolf & Woman, a  documentary collective for women, POC, and LGBTQ+ creatives in Hawaiʻi run by Marie Eriel Hobro. In addition to the creative work we do, we also organize community events for youth.

Weʻve been teaching photography to houseless youth (ages 7-20) from Pu'uhonua o Wai'anae, the largest houseless village on Oʻahu, for almost a year. This campaign was originally created to help these amazing kids put together a gallery show at Arts at Marks Garage. The gallery was incredibly successful thanks to the overwhelming support we received from everyone.

These are the goals we need to meet to help the kids continue with this program:

Our first goal: $1,000 for our gallery show and travel expenses *COMPLETED!

Our second goal: $2,550 for at least 3 quality starter cameras and memory cards

Our third goal: $5,000 for more cameras, memory cards, and tripods

Our fourth goal: $10,000 for more cameras, memory cards, tripods, and sound equipment

Our ultimate goal: $20,000+ for every student to use quality cameras, camera equipment, sound equipment, and lighting equipment

We are also accepting donations for cameras, tripods, lighting equipment, lenses, hard drives, SD/CD memory cards, card readers, laptops, picture frames, mounting materials, paint,  photo paper, and other art-related necessities.
