Tyler's Hospital & Medical Expenses

Like many, one trip to the hospital can leave a family financially strapped. This happened to us.  Our 16 year old was recently admitted to LRMC for abdominal pain.  After an 18 hour stay between the ER and observation overnight, the hospital billed us for over $22k and unfortunately could not diagnose. The hospital has reduced the bill but we have about an $8k gap to cover.  Additionally, there are follow-up visits needed with multiple specialists to dig deeper into what is causing his pain.  Any help is appreciated and we thank you for your kindness.
