6 Alarm Fire: Jess & Chris Amato

My sister, Jessica, married Chris Amato this past July. For those of you who don't know them, Jessica is a public school teacher and Chris is a Boston Firefighter. They recently closed on their first home together in West Roxbury and planned to move in over Memorial Day Weekend. As you know, owning a house has extensive upfront costs. With that said, in the early hours of May 12th, they woke up to their apartment building being engulfed in flames. It was a horrifying experience but thankfully, they were rescued from their third floor balcony with no harm done. Unfortunately, they lost everything to the fire and their renters insurance will most likely not cover all associated costs. Although photos and sentimental things were lost and cannot be replaced, there are things that can be, which is where you and I come in. My goal is to help raise enough money to buy the things they need and get them on their feet once again. Any help is deeply appreciated and will aid them with their immediate needs.
