Jessica Jones Medical Fund

Jessica Jones has been having severe headache pain since Mid-October. She's had 10 separate appts and 3 separate ER visits and now a week long hospitalization in less than 30 days. She experiences non-stop headache pain "round the clock" and nothing has helped the pain. An MRI revealed that she has Chiari Malformation. (A condition where the brain is herniated and is pinched between the spinal cord and scull at the base of her neck.) Ultimately she was referred to UT Southwestern Neurology in Dallas for a consultation visit with a neurosurgeon last Tuesday January 10th, 2017. He opted to admit her to Zale Lipshy University Hospital, to have a controlled environment to try different meds & cocktail meds & treatments to gain relief, in hopes of avoiding the brain surgery. Thru all this, she has had memory lapses and short term memory loss, extreme anxiety, depression, insomnia... that's just the few things they can think of for now. 
On Wednesday January 18th, they did nerve block injections and Jessica did not receive relief from it and now they're now doing 2.5 of lidocaine drip to see if she can still get relief. If she still has no relief by next week the doctors will decided if Jessica needs brain surgery to relieve the pain. (Crossing our fingers she will find relief soon without the surgery)
