Withycombe RFC Twickenham Trip

We are Withycombe RFC and we recently won a place in a national final at Twickenham, the home of rugby.
Withycombe is a village in the town of Exmouth; as such we are very much a grass-roots rugby club. None of our players are paid to play and fixtures like this come around once in a generation, if that. In fact this is the first time the club will have ever appeared on the hallowed turf of "Rugby HQ".
We are desperate to make the most of this once-in-a-lifetime trip and moreover we are doing everything in our power to make sure that the trip is a successful one and we come back with the RFU Senior Vase. To do so would be to instil a massive amount of pride in the club and be a fitting tribute to all the people who have dedicated their time and effort in the 90-year history of the family-oriented club. We hope that seeing the Green & Black run out on the grandest stage will serve to inspire some of the hundreds of juniors to achieve something special as part of the next generation at Withycombe too.
We play on May 7th but we are currently in the process of booking transport and accommodation for players, coaches for supporters (all of which costs money) and organising time off work for the players to be as ready as possible to make history for the village of Withycombe.
Every donor will get a letter of thanks for now and although we're not sure how yet, we will find a way to thank all our supporters adequately in the fullness of time!
We operate on a non-profit basis so any and all funds raised go back into the running of the club, providing rugby for our local community. For more info see our website or our public Facebook page .
