Winter Feral Cat Shelters/Food

Every fall/winter we get messages and calls begging for help with cats that are living outside. As the temperatures drop, people see how badly they need to provide winter shelters for cats in their community and they often also ask for help with food. Our group already has several colony caretakers that we try to help with food donations regularly, but as the cold weather hits - the need for more assistance rises. Your donations will to towards buying materials needed to build winter houses for cats, purchasing some ready made shelters, straw, and cat food to distribute to caretakers in the Pittsburgh Area. 
It costs about $15-20 to make one "Rubbermaid" winter cat house. A large bag of dry cat food from Sams Club runs about $20. 
We will meet on November 11th and put together as many shelters as we can, and then meet several more times throughout the winter.
