Play Your Part: Become a Key Donor

The Washtenaw International Music Boosters  invite you to make a donation towards the purchase a new upright piano for use by the Music Programs of Washtenaw International High School & Middle Academy. The upright pianos in current use by the Music Programs are in desperate need of replacement. They are approximately thirty years old and due to their age and condition are difficult to hold in tune.

All donations are welcome. In a show of gratitude, all donors will be recognized in upcoming concert programs and receive a specially designed “thank you” button. A plaque with the names of donations over $50.00 will be affixed to the side of the new piano.

Almost every modern piano has 88 keys. With this in mind, we’ve set a goal of raising at least $50.00 per key by April 5, 2019, for a total of $4,400.00. This should provide us with enough time to unveil the new upright piano during our June concerts.
