When you haven’t won a field hockey game in four years, your goal can only point in one direction — up.
The climb, all vertical, seems notchlessly steep. That’s where Wilson High coach Scott Horton began two years ago when he took over. The professional contractor who specializes in basement remodeling, dug in, found a few footholds and even won three games . In 2017, the Warriors finished 8-10, a game from qualifying for the District 11 playoffs (source Morning Call). But that's not all that Scott and his wife Kim did! Because of their passion and decication the Wilson High School girls field hockey team was submitted and chosen to be featured in a Dick's Sporting Goods commerical. The commercial is being produced on Tuesday, January 16, 2018. Our goal is to raise $600 for travel expenses to go into New York for this exciting experience.
