Wilmington NC Florence Supply Fund

My beautiful hometown of Wilmington, NC has just been absolutely devastated by Hurricane Florence's record-breaking and relentless rain and flooding over the past 4 days. We are used to hurricanes and water there, but this is unlike anything that's ever been witnessed in our area.

Thousands of people have been forced to evacuate, and hundreds have been rescued already, and the people still fortunate enough to be safe in their homes are stuck there without power and are running low on essential supplies such as water, food, fuel, and personal hygeine/first aid items. This dire situation is only getting worse over time as the rain continues to pour and the rivers continue to rise for the next several days. It's surreal seeing our neighborhoods underwater

Wilmington is still home to my family and countless amazing friends who could use our help! I assure you that your donation will go to GREAT use in assisting relief efforts. I'd still like to coordinate with a local charity to help me distribute the supplies and funds!

Hopefully by Saturday, September 22 I will be able to personally drive in to deliver the gathered and purchased supplies. The ways in and out of town are impassable as of tonight and likely to remain that way for several more days.
