Willow's Pacific Honours Band Fees

Hi! My name is Willow Calabrese and I am a 16 year old Junior from Kelso High School in Kelso Washington. I am proud to say that I have been selected along with 12 other musicians to travel to Australia in September and participate in the Pacific Honors Ensemble Program. We will be playing beside the top High School players from across the state of Queensland in Brisbane, Australia. I am very honored to have been chosen for this amazing oppurtunity!

As this is an amazing oppurtunity, it is not free. The total cost of food, plane ticket, housing and tuition is $4,100. 
The first payment of $1,975 is due May 1st and second payment of $1,500 is due July first. The remainder of the money is for meals and incidentals.

I have been playing Euphonium since I was 8 years old and fell in love with music, as I got older I participated in Junior events such as Junior Solo and Ensemble and Junior All-State. Later in high school I did these same events but at the competitive level, I have made it to State Solo and Ensemble 3 years in a row and to All-Atate the last 2 years. I also participated in WIBC honor band in the fall which provided me with the oppurtunity of traveling to Australia.

I play in other various groups, including the Kelso High Schools Brass Choir (shown above) and Lower Columbia College Symphonic and Jazz band. I also play Trombone in the Kelso marching band, pep band and Jazz band. 

My goals after high school are to attend a 4 year college to aquire my performance degree on Euphoium and possibly a minor in Trombone, then I would like to audition into a military band and make it my career. 

I am beyond excited for the oppurtunity I have been givin and I want to thank all of you for the donations and for your incredible help to making it possible for me to pursue my dreams.
