Willie's Trip Home

Jose C. Leon "Willie"
Willie started with Kirk in 1988 and was Vintage Speedsters' 1st employee. Kirk believed he could build a modern replica of the iconic Speedster and his good friend Willie wanted to help. During the first year of development Kirk and Willie slept and worked at the shop nearly every day.
If you have ever owned a Vintage Speedster, you owned a piece of Willie's work. In over 30-years Willie cut and welded over 3000 chassis. He was well known with all of the customers and vendors. In addition, he fabricated many of the metal parts used in the builds.
Willie is survived by his Wife and 7-children who reside in Mexico.
Willie passed away April 11th and we would like to be able to assist in sending Willie back home for his final trip.
