William Williams Double Transplant!
Donation protected
My father William Williams had been a type 1 diabetic since he was 9 years old. He will be 52 in March. He has had a couple strokes and has had no last in effects from them. He has done everything his doctors has told him to do. He has all of his limbs. The only thing he has really wrong is his eyesight. He took himself off the road almost 5 years ago. A few months ago his kidneys finally got to the point where he needed dialysis. He has been a trooper through the whole thing. He has gone through all if the screening and testing for a kidney transplant and has been approved. The best part though is not only will he get a kidney transplant he will also get a pancreas transplant. After 30+ years of needle sticks and constant blood sugar monitoring, of er visits and seizures he could become a non diabetic. His life expectancy extends. He gets no more irreversible damage from diabetes. He can enjoy a long time with his darling almost 2 year old granddaughter. All funds go to help pay for the surgery, hospital stay, and anti-rejection medicines. Any funds raised that surpass the goal will be donated to the National Kidney Foundation and the American Diabetes Association. If you have any extra to give to help this dream come true you would be a hero to this family.
