William Ward's Life of Service

Donation protected

William Ward and his Uncle Mitch came into my life about 8 years ago. Unknowingly I began an important journey that would change my life. God inspired William to come to Florida and live with his Uncle Mitch. Mitch was to become his teacher and guide to begin his spiritual lifestyle. William has become the spiritual teacher that he is today by learning to stand as one with God. God guided William to begin meditating to find the answers to start his journey. Enlightened by this “Meditation”, William began gathering small groups of friends to meditate together, I was lucky enough to be included in this group. I watched William buy one singing bowl at a time and bring them to play at our meditations.  These times were the beginning of a beautiful journey of faith for me as I have followed William and grown along with him. William instantly became part of the family. Watching my husband who had never attended an event I saw a huge transformations through simple conversations with William. (You know how stubborn men can be.) I felt my faith grow stronger and my relationship with my husband and daughter flourish. The grace of God shines through William in whatever he does. Life’s many trials made for difficult times for us but we approached them with a deeper clarity with the faith of God guiding us.

William’s passion is serving and sharing deeper Truth that connects us all and miraculously sets us free. In his humility, he says he is only a simple reminder. He adamantly knows that when we (each) find our inner peace we know how to move forward both individually and collectively. We need more men like William in the world.

William travels all over southwest Florida. Reaching out to the sick and dying, but most often the sick at heart; working to help them find their inner peace, for only donations or no pay at all. I have watched him put all of his money back into his work; denying himself luxuries such as internet.  During these hard times he has continued to live what he shares and shine as he stands in his faith.  As his Uncle Mitch said many times to him "The more peace you get the more it will be tested", only to show its power. William has been tested by the masses from family to friends to life in general. He has lost his home and now his van and personal possessions. His last journey had brought him to leave his home to become a caretaker for a cancer patient, including the care of his farm and animals. This job involves a horse, two dogs and four large parrots. His patient was in the hospital and then in hospice and his visits included bringing a dog to visit daily and being his voice at home and in the hospital. He and Uncle Mitch are now with God. William is still trying to spread the word and care for those animals with no money in his pockets, only love and God to sustain him. He now faces that he will no longer have a place to live in the near future and began to plan a schedule to continue his path of spiritual teaching on the road, living out of the van and living to change the world.  Seeing him living in the middle of nowhere on a farm and traveling miles to his events to continue to bring the peace of God in all he does. Down to just the van and his bowls he even asked God to please take him if these items were to be taken from him for he was wondering what tomorrow would hold. On Monday, April 24th, he was on his way home from his Monday night event when he was hit from behind by a young man who fell asleep at the wheel. William was brought to the hospital with a concussion and a bad case of whiplash. He knew the van was a total loss and by the grace of God only two singing bowls were broken. My husband and I brought him our truck and helped him for the next couple of days to remove items and access the damage.  But much to our dismay the young man that hit him has never reported the accident to this day and has only minimal insurance.

So here we sit trying to figure out how to get him in a van and back on the journey of continuing his life of service. So honestly, I feel the help that William needs is endless. I cannot begin to describe how God has moved me to do this. So, let us unite together to help William continue on his path to bring peace and unity to all of us. Join me in reaching deep in our pockets to help this world become a better place. It is so very important for him to continue to walk this path with God as he assists in “ushering in heaven on earth”, as William would say.  Please follow the links to hear the singing bowls and look and listen to your heart.
