William Tucker, Collection Two Development

Donation protected
William Tucker is a menswear line named after the first documented African in the American colonies in 1619. The line is inspired by the history of the black experience in America with a focus on trousers and bottoms. In September, 2015 I released the first collection of William Tucker in a small warehouse in Brooklyn, New York; a collection influenced by mid 20th century black activists and revolutionaries.  Since, I've designed two more collections and have found sample development and small production in Oakland, California.  I'm seeking to raise $3500 for Collection Two sample development, which will create the prototypes for the collection. Included in this expense are materials and labor, i.e, fabric, hardware, pattern making and sewing. Following sample development, customers will be able to order any piece from the collection during a pre-order phase.

As with Collection One, Collection two is designed to be an intrinsically meritorious collection incorporating Scotland and Italian wool's and  igniting sentiments of self-worth and stature.  Donations will not only help bring to life another collection but will help launch William Tucker into a fully sustainable business. In its mature form, William Tucker seeks to be an uplift of millions and a profound message to the world.
