Will and his family need our help!Will is a 17 year old junior at Holly Springs High School and an employee of Harris Teeter, in Holly Springs, NC. Will is the younger brother to Shelby and Miranda, the son of Todd and Kathy Bucher, and the friend to many. He resides in Holly Glen with his family.
Last Sunday, October 9th, Will went out for a motorcycle ride and was struck by a vehicle. Will was transported to Wake Medical Center where he remains in the Neuro Intensive Care Unit. Will suffered multiple injuries, including an injury to his spinal cord, a collapsed lung, a broken collar bone and a broken wrist. He was placed on a ventilator and received 2 chest tubes. Needless to say, his family and friends are devastated.
Will and his family will need lots of support moving forward. While insurance will help with some of his medical bills, his needs will far exceed what is covered.
Current identified needs are modifications to their home and a vehicle in which to transport him. Monetary donations would also assist with gas, food and other needs as the family sees fit for Will.
