Willamete Valley Ducks focuses on the interest in Basketball within the Willamette Valley for youth aspiring to be student athletes. We focus on discipline, fundamentals, hard work, and technique as the solid foundation for success on and off the court.
By teaching the core values of commitment, teamwork, proper fundamentals, and determination, we are helping our youth to develop a solid foundation for life.
About Us:
Our organization is proud of its diversity. We have student athletes from all over the Willamette Valley area with very different personalities, backgrounds, and ethnicities. Our staff have dual roles as coaches and parents. With the participation of player parents, we work not only as a team, but as a family. We have adopted the old saying; “it takes a village to raise a child”. With this approach, we have created a hardworking, fun loving, family environment.
The staff and parents work closely together to create an atmosphere of success. We instill a hard work ethic, emphasizing the importance of showing up on time, and ready, no matter the occasion. We are working together as a team and with the community to raise money so our youth have the ability to compete at the elite level they have risen to.
Accomplishments:
Our accomplishments for the 2016-2017 year have far exceeded our original goals, prompting us to enter the AAU arena in search of a higher level of competition.

Goals:
We are now a traveling 501(c)3 AAU team with plans to attend several tournaments outside of the state of Oregon with the goal of attending the AAU National Championship in Ohio at the end of June. Between now and Nationals, we will be playing in Portland (several tournaments), Seattle, and Las Vegas.
With the level of performance these girls are achieving, we definitely feel we can, and will come home as AAU National Champions.
Needs:
In order to help our hard working young ladies achieve their goals of making it to all of the events, and coming home as champions, we are seeking support from our community.
Our fundraising goal is to raise $25,000. This combined with the support of player families, the time donated by our coaching staff, and the gym time donated by our local schools, will give us the ability to make this happen for our Oregon Ducklings!!!!
Our needs include uniforms, tournament entry fees, travel expenses (transportation, hotel, food).
We are looking for sponsors, donors, and/or fundraising opportunities from our community.
All funds go directly for these causes.
