Wild Beast Love for Wolfie

Donation protected
This is Wolfie. He’s our companion, trusted confidant, adventure buddy, and beloved member of our family. Wolfie was recently diag-nosed with a nasal tumor and mast cell cancer.

Wolfie's diagnosis caught us by surprise as he is only 8 1/2 years old. He is now embarking on a monthlong course of chemo, complimented with mushroom supplements and lots of TLC.

The ongoing vet bills are racking up on our credit cards, and we're reaching out to you, our circle of chosen family, for help in this time of caring for Wolfie. Thank you for any amount you can give!

As a gift, if you donate $45 or more, I'd be delighted to send you one of my Wild Beast Hats, totally inspired by Wolfie! You can check them out at www.wildbeastshop.com. Let me know if you donate and would like a hat by emailing me your mailing address to rae[email redacted]

We also want to welcome and give thanks for your ongoing in-kind support. We are so grateful to our dear friends who have been sending Wolfie long-distance reiki. To local friends who are helping care for Wolfie when we are at work. To my parents who have been so resourceful with ideas and supportive. And everyone who is part of Wolfie's life!!

We'll be sharing updates about Wolfie's wellbeing and mountain life at @wildbeastlove on Instagram. Please follow! https://www.instagram.com/wildbeastlove/

Wolfie has had a miraculous life story so far. Valerie, a vet in Eaton, CO, saved his life when he needed surgery on his back knees over five years ago. Since we adopted Wolfie over 2 years ago, he has had many adventures in the snow-covered Rocky Mountains with us. It's hard to explain in words, but you know if you've met Wolfie that he has this special gift for giving love everywhere he goes. On our daily walks, he likes to stop and visit the kids at the pre-school, say hi to everyone along the main street of Nederland, and kind of assumes everyone on the hiking paths are there especially to pet him! I had imagined that one day he could be certified to volunteer to help kids read at the local libraries, and to visit kids with cancer at the Boulder Community Hospital. Maybe one day that will be possible!

Much love!
