“Everyone Deserves to Feel Beautiful”
When you look good, you feel good. Unfortunately, many women who suffer from hair loss do not feel good, or believe that they look good. This is especially alarming since hair loss and depression in women are directly linked, according to a 2012 National Institutes of Health survey, and from anecdotal evidence given by the women we worked with in our Wigz Across America Tour. The global tour was an effort between Jaylin Waters, 19-year-old co-owner of Mo’Chic Beauty, Inc., her mother, author Jonetta Smith, and YouTube beauty influencer, Anthony Cuts, Jaz Jackson and Shalom Black , to lead wig-making classes for those who wanted to craft their own locks affordably.
This is exactly what we support: comfort and affordability. Through our tour, we realized that many students suffered from hair loss, and were extremely grateful for our wigs, which were an alternative to limited mainstream hair options. Furthermore, we realized that we could encourage the alignment of inner and outer beauty through empowerment workshops, fashion, skin and hair products. All of this turned into a formula for:

Everyone deserves a “glam-ily,” a glamorous family to help boost their confidence. And that’s exactly what our studio would provide, as a beauty space dedicated to provide quality pieces, with the latest hair replacement technology. Such a space would be very valuable for hair loss sufferers, as it would provide them with a strong, relatable community of friends and mentors. It’s a big goal for a big cause—and as such, it comes with big costs. To make this ideal dream a reality, the start-up expenses, including supplies, and staff, are estimated to be around $20,000.

$1,500, you will receive a group ‘Glitz and Glam’ calendar photo shoot with Our lead hair stylist , complete with professional hair, makeup, wardrobe and photography session including digital and print photos (3 wardrobe changes).
