Wife in need after delivering baby-emergency

Donation protected
My wife had a rare condition during her pregnancy called Placenta Accreta which is when the placenta grows through the uterus. It's a dangerous condition that would cause total blood loss if the placenta suddenly tried to detach itself, ripping the uterus. We were told worst case scenario is the placenta would start to grow through other organs like the bladder or intestines.

She was hospitalized at 33 weeks and after delivering a healthy baby boy, she went through an 11 hour surgery to save her life. She had her uterus removed, also the fallopian tubes were removed, the doctors found that the placenta had also grown into the bladder and so she had bladder reconstruction. She lost nearly her entire blood supply and received 2 blood transfusions totaling 7 liters of blood.

She also had some stents (10in. tubes) placed in her ureters to keep her organs from collapsing and to allow urine to flow from kidneys to the bladder while it healed. Now she has to have these removed and her obgyn oncologist said they need to be removed this month because they are not for long term use. They can only stay in for a short while for her safety.

Her insurance would not cover anything following the delivery of the baby and because her case was rare, she is still needing medical attention/services and procedures.

Your donations will help our family pay for:
-Ultrasounds (she needs one within a week)
-Cost of the surgery with anesthesia
-Pre-operation lab work/exams
-CT scans/MRIs
- Any possible blood transfusions
