Whippet Rowa's Spinal Surgery

Donation protected
Dear friends,

This is Rowa, a beautiful Whippet adopted from Cara Dog Rescue three years ago. Since then she has become my entire world, my best friend, joined at the hip day and night.

For those of you who know Rowa she’s very free and loves a good run. Unfortunately last Friday while running in the field she hit a fixed object at top speed sending her somersaulting. The impact has resulted in her losing the mobility of her two front legs. Following an MRI scan we have established that Rowa’s spine has compressed resulting in a spinal injury and the need for spinal surgery.

Since Friday the bills have amounted to €2000. This is before the surgery and aftercare which will amount to over €2500. Rowa is attending NOAH – North Dublin Orthopeadic Animal Hospital.

Unfortunately I haven’t Pet Insurance (huge regret) so I am doing my best to finance these enormous vet bills. Many of you know Rowa means the world to me, she is a young and fit dog with the ability to recover from this injury given the right treatment. I often struggle to ask for help but if this little plea can help her get the care she needs then I swallow my pride. Rowa and I would be most grateful for any small amount you can spare.

Many thanks

Ariane
