Wheelchair Van Needs Transmission
I am the father of two children (8 & 12 years old) diagnosed with Muscular Dystrophy. The oldest is now wheelchair bound, making reliable accessible transportation an absolute necessity for medical appointments and/or emergencies. Earlier this year, funding was secured through local organizations to purchase the wheelchair accessible van you see in the picture. Our old minivan (daily driver) broke last month leaving the wheelchair van as our only transportation. A little over a week ago during a MD clinic appointment trip, the wheelchair van broke as well. Through local fundraising, $2600 has been raised towards the $4472.45 needed to replace the transmission. The campaign goal has been updated to reflect the remainder of total needed. Any help towards achieving this goal is very much appreciated. Thank You
